ABC is making their live broadcasts available through their "Watch ABC" app, which is being regarded as a move to combat embattled live-streaming service Aereo. ABC becomes the first major network to make an app available to broadcast all their shows live.

YouTube has finally updated their iOS app to include live streaming and a host of other features such as easier access to new uploads from those channels you subscribe to. You can also now queue up videos to play via your connected TV from the comfort of your own sofa.
Coachella 2013 will be hitting YouTube again, and continues a tradition I hope never ends: live events being able to be found from the comfort of your own home. This year's festival takes place starting Friday, April 12-Sunday April 14 and streaming live from Indio, CA.
YouTube may have pulled off a masterstroke when it came to their April Fools Day shenanigans, declaring "The End of YouTube." Behind that April Fools joke was a very successful marketing plan, and it appears to have worked like gangbusters.

Google has added a Sign Language Interpreter to Hangouts, so even more people can enjoy Hangouts now. The ability for everyone to be able to communicate with each other makes for a better Hang, and no one has to be left out because of technological limitations. The app allows the hearing impaired to invite interpreters to the Hangout
Oscilloscope Laboratories released their movie, "It's A Disaster," on Twitter and Vine in six-second bursts. It's an interesting experiment. And if it somehow creates more awareness for your movie that you otherwise would not have gotten, it's worth a shot
