President Obama seems like a pretty regular guy... someone you could hang out with, even.

As usual, there was plenty of news in the online video world this past week. And as usual, you were probably a bit too busy to keep up with all of it. We saw more major updates to YouTube's design and services, some important Google Plus news, and a whole lot more.

Google Plus continues to get more open bit by bit, and just today made the service available to teens age 13 and up . Previously, Google Plus was restricted to people 18 and up.

Google obviously wants Google Plus to do very well. You can tell by how much they've leveraged their other properties to promote it, like YouTube videos, Google home page messages, rolling in Google Plus results into the standard SERPs, etc.

This is just a quick note, mostly because there just aren't a lot of details to share with this story--but it's still pretty cool news. Google engineer and Google Plus team member, Shana Gitnick, has shared a new Google+ feature that should make video fans happy: the ability to record a video with your webcam and share it on Google Plus with the click of a button.
