Lots of terrace space and small back very private garden with amazing views. Very quiet village, less than 100 inhabitants, 100% Spanish. The house has been tastefully decorated with old thick stone walls, terracota floors and wooden windows and doors for a very natural feel. Lots of light in every room, open plan living room. The house was renovated 5 years ago; all water supply piping and electrics are new. Sleeps 6 with possibility of 8 (if 2 sleeping in sofa bed in the living room). Benaque is a small hamlet located 29 kilometres from Malaga (25 min drive) and 9 kilometres from the coast (15 min drive), at an altitude of 240 metres in the region of Axarquia. Benaque was the birthplace of the poet, novelist and dramatist Salvador Rueda (1857-1933) whose work greatly featured Andalucian themes and to whom a small museum is dedicated in the village. Benaque nestles in blissful countryside with a quaint, peaceful charm unique to the undiscovered Andalucia, perfect for ramblers, yet is just a short hop away ...
