The CEOs of both CBS and now Time Warner have spoken out in favor of Hulu moving to an authentication model. Personally, it seems like an anti-trust suit to me in regards to Time Warner, who should have no say in the matter.

Sometimes human beings are strange. Like when tragedy hits, such as 9/11, and despite the sadness and shock and grief… they can’t help but seek out video of the event. That happened yesterday, when the Indy Racing League saw a spectacular crash claim the life of one of their most promising drivers, as 33-year-old and current Indy 500 champion Dan Weldon died from his injuries.
Yahoo, who changes their mind far more than, well… wants in on the online video deal, again. It almost seems like they got wind of what AOL was planning and said “Ooh! ooh! Us too!” Their on again, off again love affair with online video just seems like it is once again, going to end in heartbreak for the aging web portal and those who pay it any attention. Hey, having just returned to America after 6 years in Europe, I know it’s hard to get back into the dating scene and Yahoo doesn’t seem too afraid of trying once again to court (read lure) online video viewers back to their site
With so many people getting news from so many sources, the giants of the medium have begun to lose a lot of their audience.
Apple has squashed the test they were doing of 99 cent TV episode rentals.

Well, well, well… this is going to get pretty interesting pretty quickly. One of the three television networks behind Hulu, Fox, has decided to end next-day access to episodes of their programs on Hulu and on the company’s website
