The upcoming holiday season has set some PS3 owners on a dissing rampage. I have noticed on multiple blogs, on personal websites, and even Yahoo! Answers that PS3 owners are having their stab at the Xbox 360. Now, I own both systems and I think they are both great, but it seems to me that PS3 owners now finally have some kind of fire to their beloved system and now they feel like they have every right to say the PS3 is better. I personally believe that both systems have their ups and downs, but the 360 is still the better system. I may be the only one, but it seems to me like PS3 fanboy owners don't want to face the facts. The system costs too much (still), not enough good games, the graphics are still on par with 360, online is bare minimum good, the accessories are mind-blowingly high-priced, and it is just not an everyone-can-play system. What do you think about this statement? Best answer will be given to the most intelligent answer. Let the discussion (or flaming) begin. Last longer huh? That why the Xbox 360 is outselling the PS3, because the PS3 is going to last longer. Yeah, I doubt that. Games wise, for both systems, I see nothing going for them past Q1 of 2008. However, I do see the steam that PS3 has built up, but it seems that it will never be enough to catch up to the 360, and as long as the PS3 keeps their price high and game exclusives low, I'm make my "prediction" that the PS3 is the first system to fallout even with MGS4 and the non-system seller Drakes Fortune (which is a really good game). You should expect the Wii and the 360 to last the longest. For one, Wii cost near nothing and now comes with an extra controller and games (If you look in the right places). The 360 has Halo 3, enough said. Whether the game is overrated or not, it is a world phenomenon that everyone wants to get their hands on who hasn't played it. And when I said accessories I meant controllers, memory cards, etc. The PS3 will fail if it doesn't change its game plan. Hmm, just read the last answer. I can't really follow your answer, but it seems to me that you didn't even mention the fact that the Xbox 360 has more and better games. It doesn't matter if your system is the graphics king of the world and runs pixel perfect 60 or even 120Fps if it doesn't have the games to back it up it will fail period. You know why the Wii does so well? Because they appeal to an audience who is just looking to have good clean fun. Does it look like they give a flying **** that the graphics aren't the best? No! These facts are all true when it comes to PS3 having better graphics, but until the system actually shows that, my opinion still remains that the systems produce the same quality games. And it seems to me no one even mentions that the PS3 controllers cost ! How does Sony expect people to play together when their controllers are priced out the yin-yang! I sound like a hug MS fan boy, but I can't really say anything bad other than it fails %33 of the time. Oh and for you 41pts for SIXAXIS how about 100pts for MS for rumble? I know PS3 is getting it, but only after massive amounts of complaints and who knows how high the price of that controller will go now that it has rumble. How many failures have you seen on the PSP and screens cracked after a 4 inch drop on shag carpet? Many. DS? Little to none. Yes, WarHawk is a great game for multiplayer, but you do realize that Unreal Tournament 3 is coming out for the 360 too right? Little Big Planet does seem likea n interesting concept, but I doubt it will sell systems. Home is the best thing Sony Online has going for it. They will either screw it up heavily or make it their selling point. And yes, the PS3 is more expensive. I don't care that the PS3 has Blu-Ray and in fact Blul-Ray DVDs cost more by around extra. The PS3 only comes with one game or one Blu-Ray DVD (depending on your package). The Xbox 360 comes with two games, a headset, 1 free month of Xbox Live Gold, and a wirless controller. Also, the 360 has the option of a wired controller for only . And I was mistaken, the PS3 wireless controller does cost . And yes, the HD-DVD add-on is pointless, but I don't expect that to count into the purchase;However, it is a really good price for a HD-DVD palyer. Oh, and the 360 has been making profit since last year. The PS3 has yet to be even nearing profits. You know why they expect the system to last 7-10 years? Because that is how long it will have to last before it starts making profits. The 360 costs about 0 less to make than the PS3. Yes, the wireless routers is over prices, but everything else is a better deal than PS3 accessories (excluding HD-DVD player). Even headsets for a PS3 cost around -. Oh, and the PC games being release from the 360 are microsoft exlusive, meaning they can only be played on Windows. So that doens't hurt profits. And I want you to name one exclusive that has better graphics than Gears of War. All of those you listed only rival it. And as I have stated before, Developers do not like the PS3 development kit. The 360 has more RAM, the PS3 has more storage. Those exclusives are really good and should be fun but only 3 of them are system sellers: God of War 3, Final Fantasy XIII, and MGS4. Everything else is a side-note. I only state the facts and whether you want to believe it or not, Halo 3 sells better than Half-Life. Overrated? Maybe. Better selling? You bet. I want you to note some of the Xbox 360 exclusives as well. Halo 3, Mass Effect, PGR series, Forza series, Blue Dragon, Gears of War, Earth Defense Force 2017, Saints Row, Halo Wars, Dead Rising, Lost Planet, Crackdown, Fable 2, Too Human, Bioshock, Shadowrun, Viva Pinata, Dead or Alive series, Kameo, Pefect Dark:Zero, Banjo-Kazooie, Splinter Cell:Conviction, I could go on. I can face the facts about the PS3 and the 360, but I will leave it at this opinion, Xbox 360 as of right now will make more profit than the PS3 will in 7 years. I just don't think you've played the 360 enough. (P.S. the new PS3 Theme settings rock!) I just checked, and yes, the 360 has yet to be making profits. However, the PS3 is losing millions.

It's my favorite holiday of the year and I go all out (I could rival some of the best haunted houses in the US) But this year I want to make my annual halloween party into a surprise murder mystery.
